Build Different.
PRTCL10 is a solo app studio dedicated to crafting software that feels intentional, enduring, and quietly powerful.
Founded and operated by Jonah Jacob Eapen, PRTCL10 isn’t chasing trends, growth hacks, or venture capital. It exists to explore what happens when one mind is given complete creative and technical control—when design, engineering, and philosophy align under a single vision.
This is not a startup. It’s not an agency.
It’s a studio—one that treats software as both craft and commentary.
Philosophy
PRTCL10 believes good software should be fast, local, private, and beautiful by default. It should respect your time, protect your data, and disappear when not in use. No cloud dependency unless there’s good reason. No bloated analytics. No dark patterns.
Every product is a response to something broken, bloated, or forgotten in modern software.
Every build is an attempt to do it differently—and better.
Process
PRTCL10 moves in seasons, not sprints.
There are no roadmaps released to the public. No buzzword bingo.
Only rigorously self-imposed constraints, tested ideas, and long walks between commits.
Some projects take days. Others take years.
Some are polished. Others are experiments left half-finished on purpose.
Everything is built in-house. From code to copy, pixels to packaging.
PRTCL10 (Protocol Ten) is a nod to simplicity, autonomy, and systems that resist entropy.
A quiet protocol for making things that matter—even if they’re small. Especially if they’re small.
You won’t find a team here. Or a mission statement written by committee.
Just one person with the belief that small software can still move people.
